Pro-tip: Wedding gowns are not like t-shirts. In fact the are unlike most of your regular clothing. They are not designed to be worn right off the rack! Wedding dresses are special and intimate- they are meant to be tweaked and altered by a capable seamstress to achieve that perfect, “for you” fit for your perfect day. Modest wedding gowns may need a few more adjustments than their strapless counterparts. Everyone's arms are different, so if you want a wedding dress with sleeves, they may need to be adjusted a bit in order to fit your arms perfectly. Modest wedding dresses may also need to be adjusted through the shoulders or at the neckline to ensure that everything lays smoothly. If you fall in love with a gown that needs a few minor adjustments do not worry, it is a common occurrence and most bridal stores will have a capable seamstress who can take care of any tweaks for you.
